We are delighted that Ven. Obhasa will be accompanying us on this retreat. Ven. Obhasa is a Buddhist nun who teaches the Dhamma in England and internationally.

  • 1 A 9-day retreat is a great mental and physical challenge and is not suitable for people who are undergoing psychotherapeutic and/or psychiatric treatment. Similarly, a 9-day retreat is not a substitute for psychotherapeutic/psychiatric/medical treatment.
  • 2 The retreat is held in silence, which means we do not speak to each other, to outsiders, or on the phone. Cell phones are collected at the beginning of the retreat and returned at the end. We meet with Delson Armstrong/Ven. Obhasa once a day for an approximately 10-minute interview/conversation.
  • 3 Breakfast buffet and lunch buffet are included in the price. There is no dinner; instead, we have tea at around 5:30 p.m.
